Project, the fact you track your car and mod/research,contribute etc makes your info very useful to the forum. It holds alot of weight.
people interested in 'modding ' abound on this sight. I pointed in the direction of fixing front bush with grommetts, other rollers with second hand/wrecker item and bolts or tapping brass stud for bolt to hold newly/second hand whatever you get, rollers...mounting will be an issue when you do have to fix this problem. Like you. R do now. Been there actually done that.... Trying to help. Anyone with a ba would be welcome to park in my modest shed and mod for moddings sake or fix for that sake... |

done some rough calculations:-
00-09 = not happening mofos 10-14 = $54 + $7 shipping if required 15-19 = $47 20-24 = $40 25+ = $34 if i was to run a group buy, then afterwards when the group buy had ended, the price would be $54 all the time. thoughts? |

I'd be sweet with that.
But as it turns out somebody in Thailand is doing a run including the part that ghetto is talking about for 800 baht. I mean, I can't speak Thai but it's another avenue to explore. Last edited by himynameisbunny; 12-10-2012 at 10:02 AM. |

ive just found a couple of my reg motors are starting to show their age, slowing up and making noises, so the $110 dollar overhauled window regulators are looking like a mighty good option right now.
It also cuts down the time i have to spend fixing it, which is always a bonus, just becomes a remove and replace job. The backyard engineer in me still wants to find a solution tho....

it sounds to me they are countermeasure or TSB parts as they're not in the parts catalogues
they're likely still available (in Japan) because the lot number indicates those were made in 2008

Isn't there 3 bushes in total that are needed?

As a late-comer, have I got this right, after all the talk of having to make your own, you've found a reasonably priced supply from Mazda direct?
The third one turned out to be a bit of a red herring because it wasn't really a high wear item, but the other two can be bought for $21 a door? Do you have both part numbers please? |

but i'd be sure it be close to the same price as the other one. but no part number, so again the process starts again. sounds like it is gonna be $30-$35 per door to fix buying new from mazda. that is $120-$140 to do the whole car. making them ourselves was $34-$54 to do the whole car. just the interest wasn't there to do a larger order, or in the options to get the numbers up for the larger order numbers. in the end, i'll probably just buy 2 of the about bush, as it is the main one that dies, and just replace the front doors, as the rears are still all good. prefer to fix all 4 doors, but this option seems like the option that i will have to take. |
