Haha I think this is one of those mods that a lot of us have looked into doing, but haven't taken the plunge to put the headlights in the oven :O
I've read it doesn't make a noticeable difference to light output, as the part that reflects almost all of the light remains chrome |

it'll cost you $11.99 if you do it yourself. and that $11.99 can of paint can be shared accross many sets of headlights.

I've baked mine but never got round to painting them. One day. . I had mine on like 120 C and took 20ish mins. My advice is don't rush the oven time. Otherwise you will damage them because you're pulling them apart rather than a gentle pressure and falling nicely in half that was for BA ones.

100 C and 5 minutes is enough.
Best to reseal with new sealer when reassembling. |

Iv pulled my lights apart numerous times and never had problems.. I put it in at 120 for 5 min pry one edge off slowly than do it aging for another 5 min and pull it apart fully. Same method for sealing - heat then squish then heat then squish
Never done it with plastic lenses but I have made plastic lenses (successfully) for my tail lights in the oven but fuked up when I was trimming them.. Nothing ever went yellow |

One more tip
Don't preheat the oven, let it heat with the light inside, this will minimise distortion of the light apparently Good Luck, can't wait for pics. |
