Yes that new 4WD mod worked a treat

Getting back to nature

those rims really make the car look like a sedate TOCA car Good to see it being abused before paint (well hopefully)

I just realised, is Dan wearing Mazda overalls? No wonder he bought another pair, if he soiled the first if this happened

Haha thanks Kyle

Had a great time. The sandtrap excursion was just pure driver error LOL. First session out though, and carrying too much speed.

After that, did a couple more and got down from mid-1:20s to a 1.18.08 before a tyre went flat (leak at the bead! Grr) and cut short the afternoon. I did go back out with a V6 spare on, but wasn't quite the same. I do have some footage that i'll post up at some point in time. Definitely a 1.17 or less in the car - i wasn't braking as late as i should have been in turn one/two and ten.

Good to meet your Scott - hope you enjoyed the ride!
And good to catch up with you Kylie

Oh, and yes, a pair of the Mazda overalls, just for a laugh. So many of the other Mazda guys want a set now though LOL

Tell me about it! It ran like a dream. I drove it hard, and the temps didn't go above 93 on the track (normal driving is 82ish), and the brakes were perfect. I'm disappointed about the flat though. Oh well, next time. I'll be back.

A coupla other pics.

This one's awesome
