Is anyone using Firefox web browser?
Is anyone using Firefox web browser? It's awesome! I was told about it @ work. Not only the obvious advantage of being more secure than I-Explorer but it has a 'spell-checker' built in. Way Also stores your browser tabs in memory for next time you click on browser if you like & holds them there even if you choose to exit browser & you can perform new WWW/google search from within browser whilst visiting your websites without having to open another browser page so to speak Similar to google bar but cooler imo
Thought it was worth mentioning guys/gals Oh......& it's free!

nah fresh, you can. You just have to tell itallow that option when installing after download. It prolly' thinks that's what you've designated. Point is it is much more secure than **** IE. You are able to change settings I'm sure fresh. I'll have a lookese

fresh, go to tools, options & tick it on/off! There is even a shortcut tab in tools to remove history. Too easy!

I have been using Chrome since it was released.
Both it and firefox are a lot more secure than IE. I like how chrome's address bar is also its search bar and how it remembers you most visited home pages. I find chrome to be faster and haveless issues than firefox. Ohh and for you pornaholics IE has "inprivate viewing" and chrome has "incognito mode" So you can surf for porn etc, and when you close the window its all gone along with its history!!! |

funny, I find IE slower Tony. Maybe depends on the set up o OS? Shouldn't be slower unless you perhaps have custom configuration maybe? May even be your system? Anti Virus programs can slow the system down incredibly if the OS doesn't support it properly or older system. If you have a heap of stuff on your system tray (start up programs), this can overload system. I always run minimal start up progs' due to this reason. Newer systems have heaps of memory & large Hard drives that work faster than older drives.

haha no i was refering to the initial startup from restart of system when there is nothing related to ie or ff in ram. ie uses 107mb of ram while ff uses 50. clearly not 3 times different lol but that split seccond makes difference to me (im very impatient when it comes to computers. i want it NOW haha) still it only takes like 2 seconds for my system to start up ie. other main reason i like ff is cus u can drag tabs and put them in temp favourites thats just awesome and saves time as well (i dunno if ie has implemented yet :S)
oh and i was refering to IE being slower than FF naughty wtfm8 haha (i want that as my licence plate ) |

IE is the slowest out there, FF faster, chrome is suposed to be faster than FF again, but i never noticed a difference maybe to me was a little bit...
speed im talking about it loading times on websites...it all has to do with the coding the web browser uses...
