are you sure it's a v8? i thought it was a subaru engine coz of the turbo's up high...and i cant see v8 banks in there.

you're right, i was told it was a V8 so never really looked that close
i was wondering what those things at the back of the bay were and yeah, apparently it's LPG i'd be saying rotary as the engine looks so compact!

yep definately LPG. on each strut there is a condensor thingie (that turns the liquid into gas, cant remember what they are called)

because it's a hyundai. things tend not to work so they need to build in numerous redundancies

If this thing was at summernats, it was a v8 excel, from what I was told. People said it was a real sleeper.
