well it's $10 per plug, $9 postage from america (ie your share) and postage to you
in terms of more people - why not? how many others would be interested? so far we're up to 74 plugs! |

Hiya,
I have 70,000km service coming up next february and havent checked to see if spark plugs are part of the changeover in the service, if so, I would be very interested in purchasing 4 for my SP20. Does anyone know how much mazda normally charge for a normal set of plugs ? Claude

adelaidesp20 - probably heaps. mazda isnt cheap and they just use stock standard ngk plugs
323 - the zf's will be fine, so long as you're happy with the 6 heat range. and since that's what you have on the list, go for the ZF's. if you wanted a 7 or higher heat range, BK's is the only option |

Twilight,
You have put me down for the ZFs when I actually wanted to buy 4 x BKR5EIX-11 Interestingly I have been trying to find more information on the difference between the ZF and BK series plugs. After searching NGKs site in Oz and the US with no luck or information I decided to call them and ask. After consultation with one of the reps I was told that you while the BK and ZF series plugs have the same physical specifications that because of the "projected gap" of the ZF plugs that they could/should not be used as a replacement for the BK series. Sorry to muddy the waters at late notice but I thought it was important to pass on what NGK in Sydney had advised. Therefore as I stated earlier I will go with what my owners manual states and that is the BKR5EIX-11 Thanks Christopher |

that's ngk being safe. i am 100% certain they will work on any of the mazda engines and work safely. afterall, guys on the www.msprotege.com forum use the ZF's all the time : see http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showt...ight=zf%2A+ngk
ngk are probably just a little worried that because of the extra 2-3mm on the tip (at most), that might hit the piston. |
