hooking up amps

ok if u got 1 preout on a HU that means u can only use 1x amp right?

my other question. If an amp has a "speaker level input" which the amp comes with a connector, you wouldnt need rca's or a lineout converter for it right?

i got a mono block running from the head unit,
now im getting a 2 ch amp to run the speakers which has this "speaker level input" what it looks like to me is i just need to connect the speaker wires to this feature and it should work like how an rca would, has anyone done it this way before?

you can use RCA splitters to use a second amp, just make sure they're decent quality.

otherwise speaker-level are ok, just more wiring to run

ok started a new parcelshelf last weekend and i got some decent (or some what)
6x9's FUSION 280W-80RMS, and finished hooking it all up today

if u look close no wires hanging from the speakers on the shelf

a closer look...the purpose of the terminals is so that its easier to take the shelf out

i cut lil groves on the top of the shelf, ran the wires through and when i get the carpet it'll cover the speaker wiring up.

last step...carpet!!
