well here's some pretty ordinary pics from my phone of the car that I bought
only real issue is the throwout bearing is a little noisy, just gonna do the clutch while i'm at it but.. what do you guys recommend as far as clutches? So apparently I have no idea how to post a picture so I'll just go search how to and hopefully figure this out >_> Last edited by oatie; 18-01-2014 at 05:46 PM. |

thanks guys!
I already love it haha, huge improvement from my old 93' impreza I've tried searching for what clutch I should get for this thing but I can't find much about it.. can any of you recommend what I should be buying for this? figured I'd just upgrade the clutch while doing the throwout bearing |

Most clutch kits come with the throw out bearing.
I had NPC create a custom clutch which was 275 IIRC including throw out bearing. Otherwise you can pick up an exedy clutch

Give Greg from GSL Rallysport a call. You'll find his details in the traders section.
He is normally pretty good to the AGT folk.

ok I just ordered this one..
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/EXEDY-H-D...item2a3126be69 says it's meant to fit "1.8L Mazda 323 BJ Protege & Astina with FPDE petrol engine (1998 - 2004)" which I'm 99% sure is what my car is.. I hope |

look at all the other applications for the other cars...
it won't fit! I have never heard of an exedy clutch kit that fits the FP-DE... only way is to buy another brand or mazda just because the FP-DE uses the F word box, doesn't mean it uses the same clutch as the other engines!
