June 19 - All Jap Day [This Sunday]

When: 19th June 2011, 9am onwards.
Where: Earnshaw State College, Earnshaw Road @ Banyo
Extra Info: Display car entry from 7.30am, spectators from 9.00am. Gold coin donation on entry appreciated.

Almost all the JDM forums know of this and will be showing up in force. Should be a huge day due to the extremely low cost for cost entrants and spectators.

I might have to go have a look as well, sounds interesting for a walk around.
Im not entering my car though.
Who wants to see a boring BJ Astina with a bus shaped dent in it(unless someone has one of those big band aid stickers)

We can go as a pair. I got mix'n'match rims and white tire wall marks on the front and left side.

And my rear passenger side door is still dented right in from some tyres at the IWMAC dirt track. Though all my goodies are under bonnet so hopefully that keeps people distracted.

Go as the bashed up club, showing real cars with real day to day battle scars.

Holy crap that was an epic meet. Got there 15 mins after initial entrant entry and there would have been 50 cars there already. By the time it hit 11am an entire school oval was totally full of cars.

I saw one 370Z, a 350Z, an S15 Silvia and an R34 GTT, and those were the newest and only real year 2000+ cars there. Average car age would have been 1980 easily. So much classic jap tin i was drooling like a dog. There was a 1968 Prince Skyline 2000GT that was mint and 80% of the cars were either clean gorgeous machines or perfectly period modified classics. You could count the ricer boys on your fingers, it was great.

I gave out 2 of the AGT cards to some recently moved to QLD fellas with Yellow BJ SP20s and one to an older dude with a nice red Familia GT-R. Was surprised at how much attention my little BG got too. Had long chats with 3 guys about it and plenty of people stopped their casual stroll to check out the engine bay. So i'm pretty bursting with Astina pride right now.

Anyone who didn't go was soft as, i'm sure if you left now it would still be pumping.
