Look for 626 V6 boxes as Astina V6 are few and far between (read $$$$$$$$$) but almost identical. If you have the budget you could put the KL-DE in at the same time.

im goin to get batmans old kfze and work that fairly hard, the 626's has longer gear ratios that why i ruled the option out... i will just keep watching the auctions for wrecked v6's

so all the mx6/626 boxes bolt up to the kf fine, did u have any problems with the gearbox matching up when u put the kl in the astina? id prefure a astina box because of the shorter ratios, i cant find the final for the 626 but the v6 astina is 4.388:1, the jspec is the same execpt for 5th where the aus is .975:1 and the jspec is .795:1...

exactly the same bolt match.. but I dont think the 2.5 (DE) box is any dif from the 2.5(ZE) one.. i have split both apart and every thing was the same...
but yea the kf (lantis/astina) is shorter.. I have an lsd one in the laser..

So are we saying an MX-6 or 626 gearbox will fit a V6 Astina fine, but might have some ratio changes.
