should do as the RX8 wheels can be fitted...you will need spacers though...i think you can even fit 20s on it...

if the wheel shop is fitting them they should put the right spacers on for you...but probably only about 3mm...also you will need to roll your guards...

You will not need spacers with a 45mm offset. You'll have 5mm clearance from the rear strut. You will need to roll the rear arches though.
I have 18x8 RX rims on mine, 50mm offset.
I have a 3mm spacer on the rear, giving a 47mm offset, and no spacer on the front. My rear arch lips have been removed, and its lowered on Eibach springs. 215/35/18 tyres. No rubby dubby.

Nah been there and done that on other cars this one does'nt need to be lowered the ride is firm enough as it is plus its sitting on a slop not level ground which would'nt help its cause Oh btw just dont hit potholes since 2 of my rims have buckles but only on the inside cant tell looking at them (: $150 each to repair otherwise. The tyres are GT Radials Champiro HPX's 215 x 40 x 17 that are currenty on it. The tyres that were on it in the photo were Yokahama A Drives R1's that lasted 28,000KM's

When I bought mine about 12 mths ago it cost me $2000, $1100 was just for the tyres, the GT radials are a bit cheaper at $900 for the 4

while i'm hear, can i ask what you think of these? on a red BJ1 protege... will they fit? i checked the offset and apparently it should be fine. my speedo would be out from the overall diameter.. And would it look stupid if i didn't lower it?

heres the link
