Yeah, went to that lol. They were expecting 15-20 people, and about 55 cars turned up!! They just kept coming and coming and coming.. hahahahaha. Only about 12 of us went for a cruise though. It was mad fun though.
There was EVO, Celica, Supra, BRZ,Bike, Me, Magna, SSS Pulsar, RX-8, Crecida, Liberty wagon and Swift.

TheMAN,
I drove my car the hardest i've driven it since owning it. As in above 5k rpm with LOTS of engine braking for about 3 bursts of 30mins straight...
(My car also ticked over 199,000kms so that may have something to do with it failing as well lol)

I was following a bloody motorbike as well and so i had to slow a lot more than i would have liked in the corners...

broken engine mount should worry you too much if it is the rubber section torn or cracked.

heaps of drivers out there drive on broken ones. and heaps of driver don't even know they have a broken one.

but best to replace it asap.

Yeah, it doesn't bother me a great deal, more the fact i cant put all my (not very much) power down properly.
I will however be replacing it very soon.
Sooo that comes to the question of, what do i replace it with, what are the best options???As in ring mazda and ask for a new one, or what aftermarket places make them?

I have the MSP drivers mount in my car and it is a bit stiffer than the stock one and gives noticeably better response under acceleration.
You do feel a bit more vibration in the car than a stock mount but its OK most of the time except for occasionally when I have the A/C on and the car shakes a bit at idle, but that's most likely because I have a MSF engine.

pic of the MSP mount vs the regular mount

MSP mount on left, regular on right

MSP mount is a US only part, but it is much better for only $15 more than the regular mount... regular mount is rubbish! I broke mine within 2 years of first owning my car... I managed to get it replaced with a MSP mount after pulling some strings It's still working good after all these years!

What do you mean when you say "pulling some strings"? Is it hard to get hold of? Where would i find one?

you can only get it from the US
I managed to get my stock rubbish mount replaced with a MSP mount under warranty when my car was still new, with only 30000km on it I think... tells you how I drove my car

and now the car has a turbo in it since 2008 and still working good as I said

I can easily order one for you and have it despatched within a couple of days... the mount isn't cheap... it's the most expensive one out of all 4 mounts in our car, so you might as well use that money towards a better mount!

you have a choice between standard airmail or EMS too of course, depending on how much you want to pay and how much in a hurry you are

oh and you also can add aftermarket urethane inserts into the mounts on top of replacing that mount... it'll add vibrations to the car but not quite to the levels of full blown urethane mounts... again your choice of how much you can stand the additional vibrations and what your driving needs are

PM me if you're interested and we can discuss

Been a while since ive worked on my car, so I painted the wipers, installed a variable wiper stalk that doesnt work with a hatch so reinstalled my one, and gave it a bath, a productive couple hours!

Put BL MPS mats in my BK...Rebel. Drivers one had a hole in it and kept getting tangled by the clutch. The rest were fine, but these ones say MPS!!

Btw, if anyone wants to know, they're practically the same. BK MPS mats was a bit longer in the front. The rears also not quite as wide so it kind of squishes right up to the plastic on the seat rail, but nothing drastic...

Should of probably vacuumed the floor first.
