I've looked in the workshop manual. It shows the same adjustment for the H/T and hatch. The Protege is the odd one out.

Hey Gys,

Just replaced the bulbs on both lights, and for my 98 1.8L BA Hardtop I had H1 high beams and H3 low beams. Replaced them with Narva Plus 50 (high beam) and Plus 30 (low beam). Narva's web site states they make H3 Plus 50 bulbs but found out today (from the general manager) that they don't. Also as stated previously it was written on top of my lights in raised letters which bulbs I required. So if in doubt, check what your light says and use that! Also when fitting them make sure the bulb is seating correctly, there is a correct way to seat the bulbs. Even better look at which way they go when removing the old ones. As I am getting my 100,000km service next week I will get them to check and adjust my headlights as necessary.

it's printed on the top of each light, above the corresponding globe (as in this pic Here)
