The Cherry Candy Cube

Hey guys.
Well as most of you know Iv traded my astina for a nissan Cube.

Obviously me being me it wasnt going to stay the way i bought it for long.
But also learning what i learnt with my astina i woudent be going that far either.

I got the cube it alreaddy came with 17" matte black tenzo wheels.

In the last few weeks of being on holiday i started repairing some old (dodge) repairs that it had seen in japan and started straightning out pannels (not very obvious but just started annoying me)

after repairin what needed it i realised just painting certain pannels wasent worth it so it was time for a full repaint.

But i wasnt going to changed the colour.
After mixing up a few similar red i decied to try a candy. Red over red just to give it a nice deep texture.

After the finished product came out the booth i was very happy with the colour.

Then today i went down to a place at the vally that stock a few cube stuff got a few little bits and pieces.

I got these chrome taillight covers and chrome handel covers.

i agree with buzz. fine line between the perfect amount of chrome and too much... i think the cube is starting to grow on me

that window has got to be expensive to replace

thanks guy. yer the colour turned out better then i expected. (those outside pics dont really do it justice)

I am thinking of lowering it just trying to keep it practical at the same time.(why are looks and practicality always so far apart).

as for the stickers marc they are the best mod so far with the rubiks cube

could they have chosen a better name though like nissan cube club or Oz Cube Clube because i feel bad if i write the abbreviation of Cube Owners Club.. sorry

looks and practicallity hmm........ well if you lower its just a bit you should have the best of both worlds

i think you need to get the black racing stripes back and get rid of the chrome things...

new colour is nice & subtle

Looking good there Duncan. I reckon the lowering would go quite well but just not slammed.
