not the first, and probly not the last to do this LED strip.

i still hold that it looks magical at night time

also note, i am ignoring comments like "needs lowered", "remove the P plates for the photo" and "clean up your garage"

cleaned the inside and outsides of both the 3 and 323.

Glued on the rubber stopper on the clutch pedal. Nice to have a pedal 10cm lower then previous.

Keep looking at the dissy thinking I need to replace the O ring I have them sitting on the shelf for months.

Somehow I managed to break my scooter riding home from work today.
All it does is rev its nuts off so I have either broken my drive belt or clutch.
It is just what I needed as I found out today my new engine still hasn't left the wreckers in NZ yet.
I will have to try and get it air freighted here now.
I still don't know if it will fit or work in my car yet.
If it doesn't there will be a Mazdaspeed Familia FS-ZE + ECU for sale.

Update on scooter its only the drive belt, it disintegrated completely, all that was left was lots of little chunks of rubber and a few bits of string.

Polished the roof of the Protege, as it was parked in an underground carpark with a leaking pipe above it. No idea what was in that pipe, but i had to use a very heavy cutter to get the milky dry residue off it.

Then ended up washing and polishing the rest of the car...

Got the scooter back last night, $399 later for a new drive belt, rear tyre and a service.

The damn thing broke on the way home today again, and it feels like exactly the same thing, the drive belt has failed.

How is it that scooter shops charge more per hour than a car mechanic and yet they are so simple.

Next time im buying a cheap air compressor and rattle gun and fixing it myself.

or you can use my cordless one

today... what a mission! replaced the rear trailing arm bushes - quite easy!
removed swaybar and that was also easy. Got stuck as to where the "front and rear swaybar linkage bushings" go... any ideas- 8 included in the package and i have no idea where they go!!!

then started on the front LCA bushings. siezed bolts, stripped a nut holding the swaybar onto the control arm, no biggie, but manasged to break the ball joint in it so ill have to go to the wreckers and get a replacement (unless somewhere else can get me some shiny new ones for a reasonable price). got the arm out eventually and started work on the bushes. gave up after a while and burnt the large one out and then after an hour or so got the alloy insert out without damaging stuff, YAY! replaced the other one, which was also rather difficult for me!
is the swaybar supposed to look completely different to the stock one, and the plastic bushings supplied seem not wide enough to fit in the stock clamps... any advice on how others did theirs would be handy.

also installed camber bolts into the front struts. ill be chasing some numbers of what is a good setup too...

and went out for lunch to celebrate my sisters engagement... filthy

also I have some other bushes here for the rear but have no idea where they go either... dont seem to fit anywhere.

oh and +1 to the front swaybar bolts. i will attempt that tomorrow if all goes better than today.

fun day... i welcome any help/tools/company tomorrow...

Might have got the wrong bushes mate. Swaybar should look almost identical to the original, just thicker. And the provided bushings should be able to fit the standard factory mounting points.

my swaybar is marked correctly on the invoice and packaging, but yet its literally a straight piece of bar, smashed flat at either end with a hole drilled in it and 2 bends about 250mm from the ends. the stock bar has multiple bends...curious to hear/see other peoples installs.
