couple of questions

Hey ive got a 89 bg astina and the mount that holds the gearsick to the body has broken so the gearstick just sits on the exhaust pipe.So my question is is the mount that holds it there is it just a plastic clip in thing cause it was broke when i bought the car and can i just order one of them from supercheap or somewhere similar.Also where is the engine number located on the engine.

I doubt that supercheap auto will carry them in stock. It`d be best to go to mazda and order from them. I dont think the mount will be too expensive. or u can try wreckers.
the engine number is on your rego sticker. Its also on an aluminium plate on the firewall. Im not sure about the engine..you will have to clean it and look around.

Engine number is on a little metal tab that sticks out on the front right hand side of the engine just near the manifold, from memory
