Had a accident in my Hardtop..

Yup.. the topic sez it all...

Was goin round a round about... and it was rainin... my tyres are pretty low on tread... anyways.. i took the round about like normal... and when turning into the RB the car just kept sliding to the gutter ... i had no control... and Whamo.. up a gutter and a garden and took out a street pole..

=\

My Rim is chipped pretty harshly but i can get that fixed by a guy whos local...

bonnet alittle bent and nice Aerodynamic Dint in front...

and the bumper... GOOOOONE !!

So yeh ... not happy ... lol...

A nice bit of advice to all... Replace your wheels when the tread gets low... ...

Oh and also i lost a beanie ... got really pissed off and threw it =P lol so yeh im also short one beanie =P

Im not sure what else is stuffed maybe the front Suspension and Radiator... but thats all i can say for now =D

Funny thing was ... i wasnt speeding... just musta got a slippery spot...

Trust me ... im not happy =P

Ill post some pics of the car..

and maybe where it happened =P

lol

**** man that sucks ... good to hear you are ok tho! sometimes it only takes wet weather and the road ot be a bit slippery and all you can do is hold on. My mate found that out the hard way. wasnt speeding, the back just stepped out on a damp road and he ended up on his roof.

hope it all gets fixed soon

aw thats **** news. id be throwing that rim out too man. thats major damage

if you wanna go all out and have the car off the road for a bit you could attempt the first hatch top conversion i.e. hatch front end on a hardtop shell.

youd be able to recoup some cash fron the sale of your guards and lights

nah that wasn't a big enough hit for the airbags to go off. there is sensors in the front of the car that activate the air bags.

In some ways its good they didn't go off as they are worth around the $1000 mark each. the last Pajero I saw that had the driver and passenger airbags go off had to have the dashboard replaced as the froce from them cracked it.

Yeh its a nice chunk..

thats from the gutter..

just looked at it in the daylight (if you can call overcast daylight) and the radiator is on a / like that

and the actual front structural part is messed up..

that was from the Street sign.. the concrete slab holding the post steady... cause when i drove around again.. i saw it loose on the Footpath..

=P

so the price for repairs just hiked up.. YAY .... =\

Damn man... I almost ended up like that a few years ago, though I was going too fast round the corner...

I hate to see an Astina like that, at least you are OK.

Airbrush 1 is the best!

I like airbrush number 2. Number 1 is ok, but I like the aggressive nature of the 2nd one. Number 3 is sorta faggy...
