no ofence twiggy , but bourne who gives a **** if one person backs you up money can be wasted on cars for minimal gains.

bourne before you go ranting on about suspension on a mazda forum for 323's how about you buy a 323.

Hey man you didnt directly need to say that about your driving skills you just have big noted yourself and shot down what other people have said about driving techniques in the past. I dont question that you or andy know your stuff but I must say greg that it sounds like you always have to be right.

You love to stir coals in the fire and i have seen numerous thread where you have caused **** fights. You need to learn when to drop it and ask your self what are you doing here you may no a thing or two but you dont drive a 323 and your only real interest in this sight is showing off your knowledge. Its people like you that made me not be as active on this forum for a while cause you always have to impose your imput and not let anyone with a conflicting idea present it with you shooting it down.

once again... the beauty of internet forums... beleive me, i'll openly admit when i'm wrong, and i do it a fair bit (that's how you learn), but if you're trying to tell me that buying coilovers is the best money you can spend on upgrading your car's handling, then your ignorance is bliss.... and its comments like "your looking at this from a racing perspective" that back that up... if i were looking at it from that perspective, i'd say buy coilovers, but i'm putting aside my motorsport experience and telling you can better spend your money on handling elsewhere...

bourne boy - we know your point, hell i agree with you, but you have to remember they are wanting all show

very different line of thought from us - all go and no show

just thought I'd add I've read bad things about the skunk 2 coilover sleeves from members on msprotege, and much better about the ground control ones.

But its interesting reading the info you guys spit when u beef. lol

However, whatever fancy suspension components u want to endorse as effective as they maybe, they arent going to give ajustable ride height or a 3" drop....which is the whole point of buying coilovers (apart from handling improvement).....so all these arguments and point-proving is all kinda in vain dont you think?

if you're wanting adjustable ride height and that's the main reason for wanting coilovers, get coil over sleaves like ground control or skunk

I am going to be completely blunt here and not be biased or back up ANYBODY. There seems too be a lot of tension AGAIN and I dont agree from any standpoint that there is a reason for this as we have covered a load of grumpys recently and I for one would love to get the **** finalised and get on with what we are on here for.
Everybody has an opinion and that is why we are here.
We may not agree with others from time to time but thats life so we cant stand in the mud letting the crap into our shoes we can just keep moving .
So why dont we do that ???
We have these forums to give advice
We have these forums to agree AND disagree
We have these forums so that we can make a decision for ourselves based on the facts we are given
So the power is in our hands
Quote:
You cant please all of the people all of the time
But we can please some of the people some of the time
I am not trying to be a saint as I too have been caught up in the heat of the moment but where did it get me
I was still sitting on my ass and finger typing to the best of my ability and I was only getting myself worked up
I now want to get on with the matters at hand and try to look through these eyes with a sort of unbiased view to what has expired in the past.

This is not to gain agreeance nor is this text directly aimed at one member or another I just feel that the only people responsible for causing dramas and getting us rialled up is ourselves so lets just leave the petty name calling and pulling of each others hair to another forum and lets not blemish a wonderful forum by being the petty people that we all have lurking inside each and every one of us
Because what makes us great as people is our ability to get up and stand tall and overcome all that we encounter.

I dislike myself sometimes too

BTW I drove over my own toolbox at the end of last year and had to jack up my car in order to pry it out , so I am a goofball too

I am sure we all have dumb stories from when we grip the wheel and something goes wrong but its our place to tell the world and not our responsibility to blemish another with our recollections of what may or may not have expired

I also drove my car for three days once with the wheel nuts on only finger tight..............dumbass

Mate, dont quote someone and then talk to them in the 3rd person. Very bad manners.

Makes your snide remark useless? I never said coilovers were only chosen for lowering purposes, but clearly that is a major feature over other suspension components.

Act the fool all you want buddy but please, leave your impertinance at the door.
