Custom Sub Box

I am considering making a custom sub box to free up some space in my boot.
Does anyone know if I can buy "pre-made" mdf rings?
As I don't have a router, nor do I really know how to use 1 properly.

At the moment its just at the consideration/planning phase, so I'm trying to get as much info as possible.

JB Hi-Fi (or any stereo shop sell the precut MDF rings.

But even a cheap jigsaw cutter will more than do the job of cutting MDF

The circle doesnt have to be perfect, so long as it seals. Draw it with a compass or pencil on a string attached to a nail. Then cut with a jigsaw or band saw - just make sure you have a good blade for the thick wood or it will bend as you go around.

Else if you can't find a shop locally go to a car audio workshop and they'll make some for you

Another tip when cutting a circle with a jigsaw is to first drill holes all around the ring, close together.
Using the drill will give you accuracy and then cut around with the jigsaw, joining the holes.
