(Dumb ?) Question re: Amp/Sub

G'day,
Would it be possible to run all four speakers through a 4-channel amp and at a later stage, swap the rear speakers back to running off the head unit, and use the spare two channels on the amp for a sub?

Cheers
Spaz

yeah that's not a problem,

just leave the exsisting wire in place and tape up the ends to prevent any shorts, and tuck them away, if u place the amps in the boot then u'll only need a bit of wire to wire up the rear. once u get a sub, just hook it up to the amp and then reconnect the rears with the orginal wires.

exactly !!

with an amp in the boot, u'd run the wires down under the back chair and meet the rear speaker wires at the base of the B pillar, where the drivers/passenger seatbelt bolt into the wall/floor.

Also, when u go to sub you could just bridge the 2 rear channels into 1 if your amp allows it
