FS: [NZ] VERY Rare Astina/Eunos Digital Cluster

Hey guys,

I have a VERY rare Astina/Eunos JDM digital instrument cluster for sale. Still in excellent working condition. Was removed yesterday from an Astina which had been in a rear-end crash, so no damage to the cluster and it hasn't been sitting around unused. No cracks, chips, scratches etc.

As far as I know these are a 100% plug-and-play swap with your existing analogue cluster. I have personally tried plugging the analogue plugs into the back of this unit and they're identical. Cable driven speedo, just like the analogue one.

The fuel sender should also be identical, but as a precautionary measure I'm including the fuel sender and plugs just in case.

Here's the opportunity to buy one of (if not) the rarest optional extras Mazda ever produced for this model. Make your friends green with envy and take the chance to go digital today

Shipping available worldwide. Please ask for a no obligation shipping quote to your country.

Price: $500 NZD ($408 AUD) + shipping. Conversions into other currencies can be done for free at www.xe.com - edit: Sold!

As mentioned above, it's in absolutely excellent condition. Please note that the line on the left side of the cluster seen in photos 1 & 3 is NOT a crack, it is merely a reflection of the reset button for the clock. Please refer to photos 2 & 4.

Any questions welcome

It came from a BG Astina so it should fit it.

As far as I know it won't fit the 323 BG Familias sorry. The Astinas and 323s use a slightly different shaped cluster and mounting brackets. You could make it fit if you really wanted, but if you bolt it straight in place of the 323 cluster there will be gaps around the sides.

Haha, sorry man, purely coincidental that I posted that photo after delivering the bad news that it won't fit your 323 Familia.

I just spoke to a friend of mine and he recalled seeing a thread on a New Zealand forum where a guy over here installed one of these digital clusters into his 323 Infini sedan. Apparently the wiring wasn't plug-and-play like it is with the Astina/Eunos 100 but wasn't hard to do since the pin-outs for the wires are actually written on the back of the cluster from factory.

I did some hunting around online and managed to find the thread that my friend was speaking of. The guy who did the swap into his 323 Familia posted some photos (albeit blurry ones) and even a video. Unfortunately he didn't post any photos of the finished result with the plastic surround fitted, but from what I've read elsewhere, the 323 Familia surround requires trimming in order to fit properly as the cluster is too large for the surround (not the opposite way around like I initially though, so there won't be gaps on the sides afterall). Here a link to the video and some pics:

I am sorry but I think oyu have models mixed up

This unit looks to me like the BG chssis Eunos 100 model or Astina SP 323 we got here.
EG - pop up headlight front end and if so it should fit across. I don't know if BG's had major changes in the Production run between 1st and 2nd series like previous or other models.

It won't fit a BG familia sedan Yes thats is true. I d buy it if I had a BG Dam I would.

Yes the unit is from a BG Astina, the same shape/model as the Eunos 100. I was only referring to the BG 323 Familia's in my previous posts as the other member asked if it would fit his Familia, which sadly it won't, but I managed to find a thread online where someone had successfully fitted this Astina digital cluster to their 323 Familia Infini by modifying the plastic cluster surround, so it's definitely possible.

So just to clear up any confusion:

Yes, this will fit the BG Astina and Eunos 100 models. 100% plug-and-play, bolt-in.

No, it won't fit the BG Familia sedan/hatch. It can be made to fit with some rewiring, different brackets and modification to the plastic surround but it isn't a bolt-in replacement like it is on the Astina and Eunos 100 models.

There isn't really any more info in the threads than what I've already posted unfortunately, but here's the link to where I got the photos of the Astina digital cluster in the BG Infini sedan (pages 5 & 6) -
