if it is so important to the future of australia, why is colour of hair and size of ears being discussed? none of these immature things have anything to do with the way the country will be ran in the future.

was having a little joke lol
anyhow i do think gilard has just sweep all the problems under the carpet
mining tax, carbon trade scheme, etc
however i dont think the liberals have anything really better to offer
and havent proposed something that will push them into office
most women are behind gillard due to the fact she is a female not really her policys

i dont think it matters who you vote for.. Australia is a country. it has a government. the government is largly influenced by economics. australias economics are largly influenced by china and america. it doesnt matter who you vote if in the end everyone ends up doing what they can to spend as much money as they can. i personaly dont think they should have back stabbed rudd like that.. that was bs.. i mean he did nothing bad. and as for the mining tax, read more in to it than what you see on the news.. mines have already more than doubled the price of their produce, they are ripping people off and are reaping this countries recourses... i mean this is what happens when you privatise massive industries like that, but there should be a higher tax any way.. lets see last year, prices of mining produce doubles.. the taxes stay the same as do the wagess. so who gets more money?? the tycoons.. screw them i say. in short rudd got kicked out for no reason, as long as this countries populous is getting dumber every generation (american syndrome) media can sway the people whichever way they want. there is truth, the truth and THE truth, but you only get the 1st one on channel 7,9,10 and even less on today tonight and current affair..
im donkey voting cus i HAVE to, but id rather not vote at all, cus in this system, if the party i vote for doesnt win, they pass their votes on to someone else.. NO thats BS

please dont bring this crap here...im sick of **** being posted on FB and all over the news websites...id prefer to watch a cooking show like the rest of australia and not care about stupid politics...

as soon as anyone gets in the power goes straight to their head and they change and become dicks basically...only one i did like was bloody rudd! and you know what i liked what he did and screw gillard for stabbing him in the back she hasnt done much different than he has...dont say she has changed the mining tax...rudd was set to anounce a change in the mining tax accouple of days after she stabbed him...

GAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i hate politics if i didnt make it clear

P.S dont get me started on abbot...

i do agree with 7onyd that rudd getting stabbed in the back was just BS
and i do think the mines should taxed a lot more. however just like you said the tycoons
get the money. i know a bunch of people over in WA working in the mines and when the goverment announced the bigger tax. they were told they would be getting a pay cut so the CEO's could keep getting there profits at the usual rate and the shares stayed high.
i hate ACA and other shows like that due to the fact there basically aimed at the bogan parts of the nation that have a one track mind due to the way australian television has become americanised. another annoying issue is that people beleave that just because they vote labour and liberal means that abbot or gillard will get in. however there vote has nothing to do with it. they are actually voting in there local member of the respected party
chances are i will vote labour then the greens. mainly because i think labour did a good job with the FC and other areas. and those people are still there despite knocking off rudd

the stupid this is...they were only going to be taxed on the profits...not total money made...so if say they make 1,000,000,000 a year, and their costs were 500,000,000...they would only be taxed on the 500,000,000 not the full 1,000,000,000...
