FS [SYD] 1997 Mazda Astina 323 BA Hardtop
Hey guys,
My other half has recently given birth to a little bundle of noise, so I bought a new car that would be more suitable for the purposes of transporting said bundle. I chose a 6 MPS, and am very happy with it. Unfortunately, that leaves old faithful sitting there unloved, and therefore she has to go. If you feel like sifting through my posts to see some of its' history that's all good, but I will list it's details here. Year: 1997 Make: Mazda Model: 323 Astina BA Hardtop VIN: JM0BA11P300203724 Rego: 24/03/2015 Odo: 233,xxx The good: Owned by my family since new Serviced every 5,000kms (need to find service log though) Mazdaspeed rear muffler Work Nezart mesh wheels + Pirelli P5000 tyres KYB shocks + RSR springs Whiteline poly bushes all round (incl. caster bushes) Whiteline camber bolts (~1.5deg neg front, 1.0 deg rear) Whiteline rear sway bar Whiteline front strut bar New (20,000kms) strut tops + bump stops Ford poly shifter bushings + ebay special short shift kit MX-5 Nardi wheel Kenwood head unit w/ aux input Leather shift boot and handbrake boot LED bulbs all round (save for headlights) Clear front indicators Jap-spec cupholder armrest The bad: Both front windows need new bushings Tint on front drivers window has been scratched Front drivers door trim has a tear Paint chipping off bonnet Likes eating oil - about half a sump every 5,000kms Drove it for the first time in a while yesterday and it's still a hoot - much more go-kartish compared to the MPS. Want to let it go for $1500 firm, given the amount of goodies that are on it. Located at 2228, NSW. If you want to know more or are interested, just throw us a PM here. Cheers guys. Sorry about the Dropbox links, can't figure out how to make them display in vBulletin properly. https://www.dropbox.com/s/02g1rukl0g...54755.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/3fk0mttgw8...54819.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/u4e84g0v8k...54842.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/uc9dthnrdo...54854.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/talnvxv8pr...54903.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/3d9rxk30in...54917.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/mc9h919nys...54928.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/evcpc5cc4x...55115.jpg?dl=0 Last edited by himynameisbunny; 18-02-2015 at 10:53 AM. Mat you can attest to how good the ride/handling is with that spring and shock combo...they were yours after all |

Bump, have added VIN and rego expiry date.
I have also posted a CarSales ad for it which I'll post the link up to shortly, although it's no different to my listing here really. The missus is really onto me as it is taking up our one parking space, so if you're interested feel free to give me a bell! |

Just remembered that I have a whole lot of parts for the car under the house at my parentals as well, for any AGT members they can pick them up with the car for the purchase price.
I believe I have: Liberty/Legacy GT turbo 2-pot calipers Folding mirror set Fog light set (these were from a member here, can't remember who...) they have HID bulbs in them. A set of mesh-style Speedy wheels with some tyres on them, but they're quite worn... Mazdaspeed badge All of the original suspension that came off the car I will confirm tomorrow.
