GB EOI: AWR solid engine mounts for BG

Hello all, I was wondering if anyone with a BG 323 would be interested in some urethane front and rear engine mounts from AWR? They will suit any BG 323 with the DOHC 1.8 engine, BPT/BPD swaps will also be supported. I'm organising this in tandem with some of the Ford Laser people as our chassis are much the same.

We will be going direct to AWR, so you will have two durometer options [how stiff the mounts are]. The options are 88duro or 95duro, 88 being street use and 95 track use. In terms of stiffness, I wouldn't advise anyone to run the 95duro on the street as they are practically solid.

Price wise, their site says $135.95 USD for the pair, but I will see if they are willing to drop the price if we have the numbers. Here is the official AWR page for these mounts, http://store.awrracing.com/engine-mo...323-1990-1994/. Let me know how you feel!

Yeh I was thinking it might have to be a general AWR group buy. BJ peoples, feel free to add yourself to the list.

BA compatible? If so I'd be a definite.

Edit# I wonder if I could buy the bg mounts and press the bushings out to use in my ba mounts?

I believe Mat has a set for BA, so if we can work out which parts actually fit then sure.

Depends on what K frame (?) you have I think. Mat's using a TX3 frame. Not sure they'd fit the standard BA frame...

The front and rear actually looked pretty much identical to BJ mounts from what we could see. Wouldnt recommend trying it though as we didnt compare them side by side
