yes, 3rd one now.

the fronts have been leaking for a while. all my fault as i did a rough rally style event with stiff suspension. see pics below. no coilover should ever have to do that. they are simply not made for that kinda work.

the rear one has just started in the past two weeks some time.

mind you are are nearly three years old now and done some hard work in them, (as above,) 10+ motorkhanas, 1 autocross and 35 laps @ Queensland Raceway.

it will cost $400-$480 to rebuild them.

I discovered the Bridgestones on the front of the hardtop squeal like a bitch under hard acceleration. lol

The new balljoints and CVs have made a massive difference to the power delivery though - the torque steer is virtually gone, and the left front doesn't just leave a smoke cloud behind the car.

Washed and polished the Astina. It is the 1st time in 4 years it has straight panels and not dents/scratches/smash up ouch marks on it. lol Pic to come tomorrow.

Fitted MS-01Rs on the front again for fun.

New oil filter and oil. (Should it have more than 3L drain out?) lol

Rang Ivan Tighe about some cams today. Shiz this is gonna cost me big now. lol

Measured up along the underneth of the step panel for extra lift points to be welded in. So lifting the car at motorsports events is easier.

Ryan

1. do not know your mods or anything about the mechanic that did the work.

2. nah, it'll be cheaper doing it my planned way.

i was all ready to do a standard rebuild in november, cos the performance stuff was too costly, added all together. and then dave says, "i'll charge you less to offset all the other stuff."

which now has left me with alot of stuff to buy upfront and hurry up into the country. grrr to dave, kinda...

Been doing a bit to the car lately. Bought this off eBay for a ridiculously low price!!! Is just a muffler, I fitted it last night. It has a nice note to it, not sure if it has affected the performance yet
