[color=#000000ost_uid0]Where can you get hold of custom dials for dash. ie. white.
Has anyone got these? I think stock SP20's do don't they? Also, would like to change the illumination to blue or red. Is this just a simple process of changing the bulbs in dash? Cheers, Dave (323 noobie).[/colorost_uid0] |

[color=#000000ost_uid0]they do exist, but where to get them escapes me momentarily...
but as you say, i'd imagine that the SP20 ones would be a straight swap [/colorost_uid0]

[color=#000000ost_uid0]Also, what about clear side indicator lenses? Is Mazda the only place to get them?
Just asking as the Mazda parts division make more $$$ than a drug cartel![/colorost_uid0] |

[color=#000000ost_uid0]i can get u some clear indicators (direct fit) for $40 pickup, or $48 posted out to you. all you'll need is some orange globes then.
i didn't realise Mazda sold the clear ones - hom much do they want for them? just out of curiosity[/colorost_uid0]

[color=#000000ost_uid0]i've got white dials which I picked up at a shop in box hill. Not 100% sure on their price, but I got mine at a special auto-salon price of $180.
They have a little controller button which allows you to switch between green and blue in gradual steps. somewhere in this forum there's a post with my pics ... not sure where tho at the moment ???[/colorost_uid0] |

[color=#8D38C9ost_uid0]Hiya, Just about the dials - the SP20 ones are white with red illumination but I don't know anything about the tech side of things :: [quoteost_uid0] How much would the indicator lens be to send to QLD? Or do you somewhere up here i could get them from? thanks![/colorost_uid0] |

i would imagine that you'd be able to get some from a autoparts store - but they'd probably have to order them in. and it'd be the same price for qld - $48 [/colorost_uid0]

[color=#000000ost_uid0]I called a local Mazda dealer & they says that Mazda don't make clear indicator lenses.
Obviously rupewrecht's aren't genuine?? Which neck of the woods are u from rupewrecht?[/colorost_uid0] |

[color=#000000ost_uid0]oh yeah, didn't even think to say they're not genuine. but they're identical to the mazda ones in fit and finish. heaps of people on the board here have them.
and i'm in melbourne! mazda do make them, but i think it's a Japan-only thing. about $110 USD a set from memory![/colorost_uid0]

[color=#000000ost_uid0]I'd probably be after 2 sets (a mate is after them for his new Protege). I assume the ones you can get are made to fit the latest shape?
I am also in Melb. Just a matter of whether you are near enough to justify pickup. Are you near Werribee, City, Moorabbin or Bayswater?[/colorost_uid0] |

[color=#000000ost_uid0]yep, the indicators fit 1994-2002 models. and Kyra has some on his 2000 SP20 so we know they fit for sure
well, i work in south melbourne, or after work i'm usually in Ringwood - which is a stones throw from Bayswater[/colorost_uid0]

[color=#000000ost_uid0]Sorry man, I don't really care if they aren't genuine. So long as they fit properly I'm happy. I assume they will fit the front guard on the current model.
I would like 2 sets as a mate has a new Protege. BTW, I called Mazda. One dealership quoted $1300 for the white SP20 dash (you can't buy just the facsia!). The other was $1060 + GST. Around $1166. Mazda are shifty buggers! I am from Melb too. Are you anywhere near Werribee, City, Bayswater or Moorabbin. Wondering worth pickup is worth it?[/colorost_uid0] |

[color=#000000ost_uid0]you could get them thru me ::
but unfortunately you can't strip the color that way - they're molded orange. and turps would make them cloudy anyway[/colorost_uid0]
