Not used that variant but I think it's just the package thing as it's the same unit I think but different mounting applicators they give you. A friend bought the PRe 720P unit. or HD.
Works great. IMO - the down side is you want about 3 - one forward one down the side and one backward. For that MOMENT. But even great when mounted internally for track days |

i agree with this guy..
and ryan there not a bad camera hey. it comes down to really what u want to do with it.. there is a lot of people out there that use go pro's.. 6 in one, half a dozen in the other

the one i link to is a better camrea supposedly, but is doens't handle water as well as the gopros do.

I looked at getting one at the start of the year but thought there really wasnt any point (for what I wanted to use it for) but have a look at the contour range, a little cheaper than the GoPro, and they have an accessory for just about anything!

My wife bought me one recently, I use it mostly on the motorbike to protect myself against any traffic incidents. I've got it mounted on my petrol tank usually but also on my helmet. It works great.
