jack point for rotating tyres?
hey guys, i went to rotate my tyres on my bj today but i couldnt because i couldnt find a jack point around the centre of the side of the car to jack it so that both side wheels are off the ground, does anyone know if there is any jack points here or do i have to jack up the front, use jack stands and then jack up the back (which i would have done with out coming on here except my uncle took our jack stands without asking )?
Help is appreciated even though it might be a stupid question cheers guys |

Yeah you can normally jack it up at the front and the back will come up as well., I wouldn't try jacking it up in the middle though, would probably put a nice bend in your car.

officially no...
if lowered then yes you could rasie the whole thing from the front or rear jack point... or you could put the spare wheel to use in rotating... just hand tighten two nuts onto the spare while you grab the matching tyre... or use jack stands.....

on a side note, using a trolley jack you can lift the front or the back (left and right) in the centre... the jack point is the rear crossmember, and on the front there is a small round shape - this is the location point - its just under the engine....
