I hope you've found someone familiar with the Familia

It is possible to simply swap the timing covers and top cover (it's I guess not strickly a rocker cover becuase there's no rockers, although I think they're still universally known as rocker covers.) from a BP05 style to a BPT.

However as you're goign full on hardcore pretty much from the start it makes no difference - hopefully you've sourced all your parts though becuase otherwise you will be raped for a lot of the items on that list....

also if your doing the fuel pump do the injectors while at it...and also a good fuel pressure regulator

insane even.

For that $$ I would've gone for a 2.5 v6 upgrade anyday over a 4cyl rebuild. Turbo is cool but v6 torque is fun, practical and satisfying.
But hey its ur money.

Why the custom intake manifold or the clutch cyl and line?

Your list doesn't include a custom made exhaust manifold ( that turbo won't bolt on ) or the exhaust changes for the exhaust.

Nor is there any intake piping mentioned and hacking up the front bar to fit the intercooler will probably require a respray

I hope you manage to get it engineered , I would talk to an engineer before I start to make sure you're not spending money on a car you won't be allowed to drive.

Guestimating 10-15k of upgrades there ? Depending on whats new and whats 2nd hand. Consider selling getting a more powerful car too

as for the exhaust side of town another shop is doing that its going to 4 shops in total over the next 3 months :P this is just the engine and turbo and there is a new front bar at another shop waiting my car, and the hole car is being resprayed all the other mods being done to the car are in my "readers ride" car will be 100% pre easter.

Hey Skitzy boi, do you know what is going into the engine internally? i mean its all good straping a giant turbo to it but it will only last as long as the internals dont shatter into a thousand pieces? I mean in the way of P/Rings...i know i shouldnt ask but, how much is this setting you back, if you dont mind me asking? oh 1 more thing...160kw atw....i see a bit more then that....especially with some 450cc BOSCH injectors....very reliable so i hear and cheaper then SARD etc...hope it helps mate....

i'd put money on the fact that the BA 'rocker' cover will fit the earlier BP motors....
obviously you would have to remove some of the timing belt covers though, but i don't see why the ba BP covers wouldn't match :S

good luck none-the-less, seems that someone else wants a protege LSD so a group buy potential is looking good
