if u can't come cos u're busy and financially it's just too much, then that's understandable, but just let us know sooner than later k - and then i won't b a cranky frog. of course u will b missed. u're an integral part to the AGT group and are always fun to be around. but of course it's up to you.

Thanks LuckyFrog. I'm flatout today going through building conditions and organising quotes, so I will see how I go. I brought my lack of time off issue up with the boss this morning, and I will just see how much I can get done in hardly any time, and if it's possible still for me to go, however that's only one aspect of my problems atm.

UnluckyGav.

Anybody got firm details/date/times/locations?

I can read people are talking, but i've been soo much out of the loop that I have NFI what's going on.

So roughly like

Summary

Date/Time: Monday ?? October 2006,
11:00am at Woden, RJ's. Then a cruise down to cotter.
12 pm at Cotter
Location: Cotter
Cost: Bring your own meat, and possibly a snack/drink to share (any objections?)

Map:

RJ's - Woden

Cotter

Attendies:

blah blah blah

Oh yeh, that sharing thing probably doesn't work and people end up with too much food.

The way I do it now is everybody puts in $10 for food and $5 for drinks. We buy food on the day, and some people(around 2-3, depending on numbers) prepare drinks the night before.

Your guess is as good as mine...

I've always heard it's just called RJ's...

Oh yeh, if there is money left over, it is redistributed back to members who attend or the whole lot donated to the club. Only thing is, it only takes one "no" to not donate.

Not meaning to throw a spanner in the works, but should we make this Sunday? What do the out of towners think? The weddin' is on Sat, so how many of them will be able to hang around for a BBQ for a few hours on Monday? My guess is that's when most will be heading home??

As for the rest of it - Mizda, that's basically what I was thinking...perhaps I might head down to the Cotter a little ahead of time to make sure there is a spot for us with a few BBQs and plenty of parking!

Also, I tend to prefer to bring own food, but am happy to go with the majority. I can provide enough utensils to support one BBQ as well. It would also be an idea for someone to chuck some footy's/soccer balls and maybe a cricket set in the car.
