fun fun fun not - CV joints are my pet hate - i just did the boots on a V6 hardtop and hated it... but in saying that, i could help depending on what day you decide to do the repair.

there's nothing wrong with clicking - it just the sound warning you to trash them before you replace them

What would be normal life of BJII Sp20 CVs...my old Meteor made it to 150,000kms and even then only one needed replacing cause the boot perished and let crap in. Ours are fine at 65,000 and a friend with a 2001 with over 100,000 is ok as well.

Yeah buying a new CV perhaps, Cracked/busted CV boots are bad news, all the oil leaks out and the Cv dies pretty quick after that, if that doesn't work dust finishes them pretty quick.

You have to take the drive shafts out and take the CV off the drive shaft and put the new one on.

Drivers side one person job, passenger side is usually a 2 person job in my experience

yeah just quicker with 2 people because you can pull the drive lines apart and hold them, with out risking cutting a boot etc...

shall i document this one?

still trying to search for time to do it now! busy weekend this weekend... i miss my car

and the failure was at 234,000.... so not a bad life i suppose!!!

andy... races.... that reminds me .... you have TXT
