4AGE in astina
hi guys,
I don't if that's been asked before, but am willing to buy an astina soon... And i wonder if could swap a toyota engine like the 4AGE in it Will i have t change the stock suspension? What will be required to do this swap? Thanks |

To be honest i haven't heard anybody that's done that swap.
Just by thinking of it, it will be costly and alot of modifying. Im just guessing now, but chances are you'd probably need the toyota gearbox, driveshafts, different engine mount and needs to be modified in your engine bay, engine bay harness and modified to work with the astina and im sure alot more things to do like probably hubs. If you really like the 4AGE engine then would be better buying a car that already has that engine in it. Thats my opinion. Good luck if you choose to go that path in installing a 4AGE in a Astina. |

easier to build up a bp engine to be similar to a 4age.

well thanks alot guys... i think i'll stick with the stock engine for the moment... its a 1.6l 16v... i wonder how much is the mpg?
