DIY garage door lip!
Hey peeps,
I found this on Mazdas247.com, and I have gone and bitten the bullet and ordered the kit from ebay Basically all it is, is the garage door seal screwed & taped to the bottom of the bumper... This is basically the outcome on a SP20 bar: and here is the link to the kit itself, works out to $55AUD delivered to Brisbane... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ht_8147wt_1167 Thoughts? Cheers Marc

A guy at work did this, but he made the mistake of colour coding it [scrape!]... I think it's crap myself, corollas and astras come with black featureless lips on the front bumpers, why would you want to copy that look?

I'd be keeping it black, and its a cheap alternative to MSP or Autoexe lips, which are at least $600-$800 before paint...
Dark blue with the black should be ok, and on the plus side protects the bottom of the bumper from scrapes... going out on a limb yo! Marc

Don't mind it, but i think it depends how well you can get it to follow the line of the centre intake bulge

Looks a little unique on a Mazda and it isn't like it's a signature look on another make/model. IMHO if you like it then why not do it.
I might have a look aroung the local Clark Rubber and Bunnings to see what's available and try it on the Demio. If I do then i guess I'll have to post pics.
