[color=#000000ost_uid0]Was thinking in the absence of our [iost_uid0]own[/iost_uid0] cruzes and FB coming up in a few weeks, any interest in having a bit of a get together at the FB?
I'll be there all the time on the CAA stand (we have 14 cars) and I imagine Eric will too so who's up, and nominate a meet time over the weekend?[/colorost_uid0]

[color=#000000ost_uid0]Mine won't be on the stand this year, tho that was the plan originally......didn't have time to do what i wanted to do to make it show-worthy IMO anyway
Plus we are having all sorts of members coming from interstate with cars on stand and need accommodation a "taxi-ing" so will be doing that[/colorost_uid0]

[color=#0000FFost_uid2]Hey guys,
Just got home from Final Battle...it was excellent So many more cars than any previous years that I've been to. Good to see some of the astinaGT crew there...Eric recognised me coz of my distinctive hair (btw eric, I'm getting it cut off in the next few weeks or so) Tony, sporting a shorter hair do, who I was having trouble finding, was hanging with the syndicate crew (shame your car wasnt ready for this one, but it'll be great to see it at the next show) Chris showed off his CAA project cars...that excel was amazing man, and Mr Bob, you got the long hair but you dont look all that much like a hippie :: Mal, where were you man? Tony and I came to the conclusion that you must have had a hell of a wild one last night so you couldnt make it. :: Overall the whole show was great. Food was ridiculously overpriced but I guess its to be expected ??? ah well. cant wait till the next one. -Mick[/colorost_uid2]

[color=#FF00FFost_uid7]Yeah, Final Battle was great, so much to see, Mick and I spent the whole day there. It was nice seeing some of you guys there and nice meeting you for the first time Mr Bob.
On the way home we passed an astina with this guy driving it, we caught up on the highway and I passed him one of those astinaGT cards. Might have another newbie coming on the board soon! ~Leanne~[/colorost_uid7]

[color=#000080ost_uid0]yeah, the show was okay.
its pretty much looking at the same car everytime. i have noticed a car.... an audi a4 with 20" (245/35zr20) on it, from ozzy tyres stand. it got me excited. hope the online taken crx will buy my 19" and i will be laughing all the way to tempe for my 20". anyway, my plan was to go to the show for an hour, do a quick-ish look. i end ed up staying for alomst 2 hours, and ended up chatting with the cabin boys and a couple of cabin crew members, and of course, some competitore and friends. yeah, has a quick chat with tony, mick and leanne. critter, i think i saw your astina in the carpark. it looks good. btw, i will have to thank tony for his car-displaying thoughts with the sydnicate cars. very much appreciated! :: anyway boys and girls, i might make a trip to canberra to catch up with you guys, thats if you dont mind me bring a non-astina related car. [/colorost_uid0]

[color=#000000ost_uid1]You didn't bring an Astina last time Eric and nothing was
said so why would there be an issue now. Sorry I didn't make it was going to go Sunday arvo but got too caught up doing things with my son, which is more important anyway. Hopefully there will be lots of pictures floating around so will get to see a bit of it anyway. Regards Mal[/colorost_uid1]
