i can help you on the hole in the fire wall
there is one just undearneath the windscreen, on the drivers side. ul see it, its a black bung. it comes out just above the paddles, towards the centre of the car. kinda right in line with steering wheel. |

yes there are holes in your firewall... check out this: thread Help : Amp Installation hope that helps a little once you find the holes. There should be one on the passenger side, its up under the dash where your feet would sit. And there is one on the drivers side to. Its your choice... drivers may be easier tho. Once you find the hole (or rubber bung), read that other thread, it'll help you get the wires through. sorry, i can't say exactly how much cable you will need, i paid a sparky to do my system for me... |

1. No there wouldnt be any holes, choose a bung on the passenger side and go from there...
2. if your running 2 amps, you'd need good power, 2guage wire should do the trick that'll run from the engine bay to the boot, a distribution block, and enough 4 guage wire to run to both amps... run 2 seperate ground wires, not too sure what to do about the trigger wires tho, anyone care to help? 3. 16guage wire should be fine for speakers...

whoops, sorry! by 'holes' i mean.. 'rubber bung covering the holes'.
there wouldn't be open holes ready for you to push wire through |

if you have trouble mounting the amps in the boot, just chuck them under the seats in the car... its a pretty common place to put an amp. and it stops them getting knocked around by stuff in the boot

do the rear seats fold down in the hardtop? if they do you can bolt the amps in here. i did that in my hatch. on the 1/3 folddown seat, as it was just one amp. but for two you can do it on the 2/3 fold down... if your seats fold down. i hope they do cus it hides the amps effectively, but makes the easily accesible on demand

yea thats the setup i have in my car. its really good, just fold the seat down if i want to play with the amp. but i have to be careful, if i put something in the boot and slam on the brakes it might bounce around and hit it, small chance tho coz my subs in the way...

yeh the seats do fold down, but i plan on placing the sub there and putting the 2 amps on teh sides just behind the taillights, so its out of the way from anything and everything

also if i take of the sides of the boot lining can i use sumthing or do sumthing to it so that i cant put it bak on or is it better off just replacing it coz its already been pre-shaped |

you can try no-more nails to the metal, don't drill holes though. ask dan, his sub box is part of the side now

It's still easily removable though - just one bolt and heavy duty velcro holding the sub box in place.
The amps are mounted to MDF with metal brackets at each end, and are a pair to remove.

amps mounted to flat sheet of mdf, then some funny shaped brackets from the body to the back of the mdf. I didn't take any pics of the brackets. It was just trial and error to make the brackets to the right shape to mount to both the car and mdf.
