2000 Mazda 323 Astina BJ Speaker Size

Hey Guys, just wanting to check the sizes of the speakers so I know what to buy. I am having trouble finding the info on the forum and I don't have the books for the car.

for the rears, they are 5 inch round from factory. normally no a size aftermaket audio manufacturers deal with since the early 90s. 5.25 fit in fine. i have done it.

I wouldn't really worry about rear speaker quality as they are behind you. I have kicker DC ???? 5.25 60watt RMS sound ok.
Save the cash and buy the best fronts you can afford. You spend all your time in the front.
I have Alpine SPR-60C 5.25 splits running from a amp which sounds great.

If you want loud sounds now then whatever you want, But if you are going to keep your car a few yrs then sound deadener the doors and any half decent speaker sound sound good. I have sound deadener in the front doors the entire floor and whole hatch area even under the spare wheel and rear quarter panels and inside the hatch door and then foam everywhere else just to try and stop the rattles.

I have 2 amps running a sub(200RMS) and the fronts (only 70RMS atm) and the rears are off the deck. its a lot louder than most people would think.
