Got window tinting done, re-fitted the visors, put the original tails back in, gave it a quick wash and put the headlight protectors back on.

Had to have a safe place for my sunnies.
It's a Vy/Vz commodore map light unit with the wiring re-done to suit the protege, it works and dims with the factory light as well as the map lights working independently (negative switched now though) there are 2 power diodes which stops back tracking of the power.

Broke the right side end link tab off the strut so I stripped them down, removed the Koni cartridges, welded it back on alongside a new tab for strength then re-assembled and re-installed along with mitsubishi Fto front endlinks.

Yeah those endlinks looks familiar haha. That digital dash setup is pretty nifty. Does the little black button above it just cycle through them?

In the pocket under the fog light switch and dash dimmer I have fitted a rear door power window switch up top, that goes through modes with a left press and settings with a right press while being hidden.

They are and I am using the universal fulcrum suspension saddles and bushes which suit the AXR clunk fix brackets nicely.

The fto end links are a lot stronger than the originals and now that I have re-done the mounts on the struts they won't break again.

Over the last few years I've been gathering the required parts to build a G-series trans to install with the Fs-ze, over the weekend I built it, it has the shafts, 1st-4th gears, reverse, selector hub assemblies, final drive and 1st-4th selector forks/shaft assy from a 2006 2.0 litre mazda3, 626 5th gear, a kaaz 1.5 way lsd with speedo drive, an oil temp sensor, protege case with Hydra bearing reinforcing plate and other shifting assemblies, V6 g-series clutch fork/pivot and clearanced rx7 throwout bearing.

I have increased the front brakes to 300mm using Gh mazda6 calipers, renault scenic 300mm rotors, hubcentric rings (od=60.8mm to id=54.9mm - 7mm thick, 2mm spacer between caliper and stub assy.

Holding the pedal down stops the master cylinder draining while lines are undone.

The rings sort out the hub center bore differences.

Shown here with rotor on.

And finally job complete.
