Hi Guys,

i just wanted to know if somehow it is possible to use the stock Air Flow Meter from a 1.8L BA BP engine on a BPT with the stock BPT computer. the main reason i want to use it is because it looks much neater and better looking and its also alot smaller unit compared to the gate style one used for the BPT and i think it was used on the BG engines too.

thanks

the Hotwire AFM is still in its production stage, and no the BP N/A AFM will not work on the BPT.
different config, and also totally different sizing with the stock BPT piping.

Not true

i hooked up a BG BP N/A afm to my GTX setup
drove the car 30kms to get the intercooler piping fitted

car didnt over head..didnt surge..it just ran a bit rich !

if you where to ever use it for daily use id recommend getting the AFM tightened on the dyno
