Thats right people's Auto Salon Sydney is Coming up Shortly, Im considering going down with the local car club im in to support my team mates and I thought it would be a great opportunity to catch up with some of my fellow Astina GT members while im down at that event.

Im not 100% what date its in but im pretty sure that its on in early may, I will be getting the Actual date soon but I thought it would be good to get a little interest in this event as I know there is going to be a few 323's this year.

So peoples who is considering going, its highly probable that i can get together a few Newcastle Astina GT members to come along so this will be a great opportunity to meet some new people and see some pretty hot rides. We have roughly a month to make plans so there is no real hurry but it would be good to have everything all finalised with in say a week of the show being put on.

I'm only new, so I'd love to meet some fellow mazda owners, and I'd love to get to Auto Salon, but my car just won't be ready. Sounds good though, take lots of pics for me!

Also, your car looks very similar to one I see in newcastle a lot, what's your number plate?

f*ckn finally i may have the car on the road at the time of the show...

once again i have entered... am am seriously getting sick of paying for entry and having the timing wrong or end up waiting for a part at the last minute that doesnt arrive...

hopefully i'll finally be in with Jetspeed along with the rest of the boys but i don't know whether i'll be fully tuned up for the dyno run... which is a shame...

on the subject does anyone know what the front wheel drive winner was last (power figures please) cause i want to know whether we can put an astina on the podium for once... should be able to find time to finally tune it at 28psi in the next three weeks...

anyone?

p.s next time i would really much prefer to enter as an AstinaGT club member with us peeps so that we can represent... lol aiight

When is the next autosalon anyway? Since I mist the blue mountains cruise I feel I need to make up for it with some salon action, and then I get to see some of Astinas I've only read about!

The front wheel drive winner for forced induction at Auto Salon Final Battle last year was "NOMORE" a mitsubishi Lancer it put out 218 kw at the wheels on the day.

If your there man, Ill see you at the Jetspeed stand cause im mates with the onwer of Jetspeed Newcastle Colin. Goodluck to all entering and I would love to see a 323 walk away with some serious awards this year.

The only awards that a 323 won at final battle last year was "Awsome car Display" and Cinema on Wheels" both of which were won by "Cinema".

And Gav Auto Salon Sydney is on the 14th to 15th of May at Olympic Park.

Just spoke with a mate who owns a BJ 323 and he will be making his debut at this AutoSalon, he hasnt told me what he has had done to it yet but im excited that there is another 323 at this years show.

Peoples this event is on not this weekend but the following so make some time to see it if you can cause this is going to be an event that you dont want to miss, especially for those who are interested in competing there for the club at final battle.

well maybe i can do a dyno run without the dyno tune and some more boost then... as long as this gay ass turbo holds up... (seems to sound like it has scorched bearing)
i pulled 228kw on the dyno with my street tune so its worth a shot...

sadly i have been unable to book some dyno time etc as a was scared off (money doesn't grow on trees either) but we'll see

wouldn't mind a trophy though... specially if its a win for all astina's.... =p
