BJ2 Side mirrors

Hey there, i currently have a broken side mirror (drivers side) the glass is fine, but a crazy ex punched it off about 4 months ago, and it broke in a way that its just hanging off the power? cable. I dont know whether this is repairable but i'm looking for a replacement, black or white colour. Perhaps even aftermarket side mirrors? A friend suggested just drilling into the base of the stand it sits on, and up into the mirror shell with a self tapping screw and that would hold it together. Not too sure about that though

Any help would be appreciated

You can get the power mirror for $95 off ebay, all you need to do if your painted part isnt broken is just swap it over to the new one and your set! Its held in with 3x 10mm nuts & the clip is deep inside the door card, so that'll have to be removed for removal/installation.

Hope that helps

Also. If your wreckers have one in driving distance, it should be less than $95! That seems steep. parts off eBay are generally higher than at wreckers fyi. Good luck!

You'd actually be surprised, 3 wreckers in Brisbane that did have the mirrors wanted $120 a side!

Wow. Must be still a market wanting spares vs wrecks. Good luck finding what you need
