Painting Headlight Covers
Hey guys, I'm unsure if this topic has been covered here before, but I'm pretty keen on painting my headlight covers all black, just to give my stock Tina a bit of attitude while I save up to do some bigger mods to it.
Is there a right way/wrong way to go about it? My cousin did it to his Lexus IS200 back in the day and it looked amazing, apparently all he did was paint the inside of it, and valois, new look. However, due to me being a red "P" plater, I'm worried the coppers could pull me up on anything to do with covering the headlights/turning signal. Any thoughts/suggestions?? Cheers, Sam |

Regardless of being a P plater or not, tinting of any lights or covers is illegal. Might look nice but you are asking for trouble with the Po Po

I've seen heaps of Falcons and Commodores that have done it as well, but I don't know how they get on... |

Rather than run the risk of majorly screwing that up (which, admittantly, I probably would do) I'm already putting aside a set of new Headlights with dark grey surrounds. They look pretty swell
