DIY Clear side indicators?

Looking at the making my side indicators clear, the pack is $40 from ozeparts.com.au - Is it possible to do it cheaper by DIY? Getting the same size plastic cover from a spare parts place, and just finding an orange globe to fit?

You get 10% of when you join up with ozeparts from memory. Also I doubt that you'll find anything that works just as well. $40 is damn cheap considering you know it will work, you dont need to spend ANY more money. You don't have to play around for hours trying to work out an alternative that may not work. With the BJ's some people have got VT clear indicators, but they dont quite fit perfectly and you also have to buy the orange globes as well. I'd seriously recommend getting the Ozeparts pack.

Some people have ysed the Holden ones on the BA with a little cutting and used sylicon to hold them in place. IMHO buy the ozeparts ones and save your self the trouble.
Either way you need to buy orange globes.

Yes they do... But for $36.00, why bother DIY?

talk to bourbs. he'll hook u up.
don't DIY it.
just buy the clear lenses and they come with orange bulbs usually, if not, pop down to ****tycheap and they'll have some.
don't buy them off ebay either, cos they're **** and they fall off somewhere between brisbane and the gold coast

Not all eBay stuff is the same...

The "expensive for ebay" ones I run on the Lynx were bought through eBay, they have completely failed to fall off or anything in over a year...

That said there are some **** ones being pedalled on eBay as well..

Basically the same $$ as Ozeparts, but mine are a little different which is why I wanted them. If you just want clear Ozeparts....

A.

Mine didn't come with globes but I did buy them for Suzy II (my previous 'stina) about 5 years ago.
