thats sweet.
i like how it has no guard clearance but still a fair bit of ground clearance. i hate scraping the exhaust on the ground how about the guards, do they scrape when you turn/corner?

na, the rear gurds can be pushed down about 1.5 inches without scrubbing anything. the engineer was shocked when he fully compressed the rear that far and it was fine! he didnt think it would work!
the fronts scrubbed really badly when fuly compressed, but they put in a bigger bumpstop to get it cleared and rolled the front guards too. the took the bigger bumpstop out, coz it would mean the car would bottom out a lot more often, but with the guards rolled it will be fine. i haven scrubbed anything yet, an i gave them a little test driven back. if you ever need rims or tyres in SA i highly reccommend city discount tyres at elizabeth! they helped me out soooo much to get it cleared. |

Looks niceeee. What style of rim is it? and how much did engineering cost. I should probably get my wheels engineered too if its cheap

why did you get them engineered? do they have hard laws in S.A. about larger wheel diameters?

I think the car comes standard with 14's so increasing the diameter to 18s may have been an issue

It might have come with 15's but, yeah, going to 18's is a big step either way. I think that there might be a rule/law that says that you can't go more than 2 inches bigger than the stock wheel size.

in sa the ruleat the moment is two inches higher and one inch higher.
my car came out with 14's, and i just didnt wanna run the risk of being defected, or if in the case of an accident it would have voided my insurance coz it was illegal. once the car has a kit on it, i dot want to get defected for something as easy as rims.. |

What kind of kit / body parts did you order? I really like how it looks as stock, but lowered and with bigger rims. I think the whole kit thing's a bit too ricey.
