Yes, well I think we should also start planning the itinerary.

There might be a few surprises in store

I think the biggest one is going to be, how many people can Mr & Mrs Kitty have in their cat clogged house for the holidays lol!

Itinerary plans would be good... We'll co-ordinate about this and other things we've been talking about

Hey,

Yeah long time no see indeed. The BF is still going (just). A few little mods done, but it's in need of some serious tlc. Naturally I did what anyone who can't keep a car on the road should do and bought another one...almost identical (thanks to an acquaintance of Rupe's). The plan is to keep my thing going and slowly do the other one up!

Hopefully will see a few of you guys up this way shortly enough.

wow, it's getting closer and closer......

I need lots of information from everyone.
What foods do you like/not like?
Are you happy with pizza for one or two of the nights?
I'm trying to figure out how many people I have to feed over the week and a bit and it's adding up *panic* but I'm sure it will be ok.

We have had to move Maddi into one of the bedrooms as she is due to drop anyday! This means that I need a volunteer to share a bedroom with a mommy and her bubbies. I want the babies to be used to handling and get well socialised, but I don't want to put anyone in there that is either allergic (like Dan) or not really a 'cat' person. I was thinking Kaz & Bourbon, but it's up to you guys if you want to or not.

I'm thinking the BBQ will be our main form of food preparation. If anyone has something special they like to make for family or friends, then please say so.

I also want to put up an itinerary so that if I'm too unwell to participate in a day's activities, everyone knows what's going on etc.

I have a new 'special' sitting up in bed pillow thingo (technical terminology) which is making laptop usage much easier now so I'll be able to stay a bit more in touch with everyone.

AND I'm on new drugs, lol, this time I'm on patches! Yes, like smokers patches, I put one on for a week and it releases the pain medication directly into my blood stream. I'd been having problems keeping levels of pain medication up because I vomit all the time and you can never tell how much has been absorbed.

Lastly, as I have mentioned to some of you, I stepped on the scales and cried when I saw I am over 90kgs. Although I can tell myself that it's ok, and it's better to be overweight than dead etc, it has really upset me.
I feel HUGE and very self conscious. I know that you all won't care and you like me for who I am and we'll all just be happy to catchup n stuff, and I'm hoping that will help me put aside my feelings of inadequacy and unattractiveness - basically, just ignore it all and have a good time with my family over Xmas.
It means the world to me that you all are willing to travel so far to spend time with Aaron and I, words cannot express my appreciation

so then, let the countdown begin......

Bourbon & Chicaboo arrive in 16 days - woooooooooohoooooooooooooooo

ah coolies, everyone's excited!!

chica was going to look at convoying with you bourbs......

Looking at all the people coming/staying and our bedding availability, does anyone have a comfy portable bed that they like?
We have room but not enough beds.....
we have 2 spare queen size ensembles and 2 futons, there's the supasac but it's not comfy to sleep on for more than a couple of days.
I'd like to make sure Cosmo gets some decent support for his back, we all saw him get out of the car at Dorrigo and take a few stiff drinks to be able to walk properly upright - we don't want anyone to be uncomfortable if we can help it.

Tonight we saw the ad on TV for the aerobeds at hardly normals but at a couple of hundred bucks a throw, I'm thinking that it might be easier to just ask you guys if you have anything yourselves.
We can provide blankets/sheets/probably most pillows etc.
I'll try to work out the logistics to make sure everyone is well catered for and everyone has a great time

until tomorrow/later today
*grins*
