This worries me a little:

from the courier mail website

Quote:
LARGE parts of Brisbane's foreshore at Sandgate and Wynnum, along with tributaries, are expected to flood again tonight as a storm surge hits at high tide.

The Bureau of Meteorology says the surge, at 9pm, could flood suburbs by the sea as well as backing up creeks at East Brisbane, Norman Park, Balmoral, Albion, Windsor and Bulimba.

The Brisbane City Council said residents near Lower Norman Creek, Lower Breakfast Creek, Lower Bulimba Creek, Perrin Creek, Kedron Brook, Bald Hills Creek and the South Pine River should prepare for possible flooding.

hi guys awesome day today i had heaps of fun. im glad i didnt stay longer thou as i had trouble staying awahe for the drive back which was ok, no congestion, little traffic, all in all took me 2 hours from the point i left till my garage (+10 min pitstop for the ladies toilet) today made me really much more confident in my car, i didnt think it would grip like that especially in the wet
Oh and go me for not hitting any cones.
im off to bed have a good one
Tony

i was glad the weather held out. only a few sprinkles of rain on the day.

the day started a bit slow. but in the afternoon, we got into the fun stuff.

i was also shocked about stopping distances. the difference in braking between 65kph and 80kph is massive.

i got a drive of mat's sp. the rear end flicks alot easier than my car. but becomes harder to control in a sideways skid.

good to see we didn't have too many mechanical issues on the day. my brake light issue, which i have already fixed. sam's brakes ended up being a false alarm. only marc had some serious issues on the way out, which we could hear coming on throughout the afternoon.

My car on the other hand would absolutely not allow any tail sliding at all! I tried everything, and the magical handbrake just pirouettes the car on the spot.
I got heaps of understeer if I tried too hard, but the car is very safe and easy to control and dodge cones with at least...

It was a good day. A special thanks to Missy for her awesome sausage skills and ability to keep drinks cool.

Gav.

I couldnt believe it myself, I thought having me in the car to counter balance the car in regards to weight would have made it a little tail happy, but nup, she just hung on!
