BJII BodyKits
Hi all just wondering if anyone could inform me if a body kit from the US will fit my mazda protege BJII. Have emailed the place i like and they say the kit is for a US spec mazda protege not sure though if they are the same as an Australian spec mazda protege???
Any help would be appreciated. |

The USDM Protegé ES, etc had a different bumper to the AUDM and JDM Protegés. But I think the rear bumpers were the same. If you are getting a whole replacement bumper, you should be fine, but I'm not sure about the grill... The sideskirts will be no problem at all.

Im pretty sure the front bar is the same and the side skirts and the same, but i think there is a difference between the hatch and the sadan rear bar.
remember the protege5 in the US is the hatch model. but the protege5 and the BJ astina hatch have the same rear bar my rear bar if off a JDM familia and it fitted perfectly. |

Front bar is only the same on the Protegé5 and SP20, and the Protegé5 has a deeper rear bumper. But since he has a sedan, that doesn't matter.
Anyhow, as per the piccy above, their standard Protegé has a different front bumper, so be careful... The MSP sedan might have a different rear bumper too? Gav. |

Well, since it replaces both the front and rear bumpers entirely, you won't have any problem fitting it.

no prob but sourcing a lip is a different story
Bris the front is a Real JDM MintBlue Front Bar str8 from Japan the Carmate is a knockoff since its a one piece front. The JDM are lips that have to be molded to the stock bars Front and Back. I would just get MB/MN knockoff to save money. but its up to you. Mahalo Efren

There different. Chicaboo would prolly know how much difference, dunno who else. There different enough to not fit correctly, the sedan and hatch bumpers are different lengths
