My mate has now taken ownership of a coffee shop which will serve food for lunch (he is a chef too and good) and said he will look after us and can seat a few people, Singleton Coffee Club. Can I get a rough head count and time we want lunch so he can organise seating for us all, thanks.

Dont forget to check up about road closures when we are close to the day.

Its often closed that time of year due to bush fires.
Matter of fact just today the putty was closed in some parts because of fires

Yeah good idea!!

Prob go south again if that's the case like last time, along the coast,
grab some fish and chips for lunch then chill out somewhere,
hopefully it doesn't come to that but the back up sounds pretty good to me already haha

exactly. from windsor there is plenty of alternate routes.

i.e. heading up the mountains, through spring wood road, onto great western, all the past katoomba and up to mount victoria. take a right and head back to richmond via bilpin and kurrajong.

so thats grt wst Hwy, and then Bells line back.

yeah that would be springwood road (the one we got to the top of when you, my bro and i went and ya car was smoking lol)

or Bells line would be the 2 'good roads' i suppose around the area other than Putty.

alternatively there is also Galstone gorge and Kuring-gai in the other direction.

Your all thinking right idea. But remember if Putty is closed on a hot day - don't expect all those others to be perfectly CLEAR.
Bell's line is not bad, could go around the back of the mountains. Plus many many other roads with ferry crossings but that would mean the low guys could not go. Did a multi ferry cruise long time back. Including a semi- dirt road. Lots of fun. Real cars only - show ponys took the easy safe longer route. Plus it rained - yes I took Wagon in that one - only mild one handed drifts.

I don't recommend Galstone gorge any more unless it's late night or mid day mid week. - enter crazy rant mode Too many SUNDAY ****ING CAMRY CHRISTIAN MOTORING ASSHOLES looking at the birds - same for Berowra and the like. Great day times and late night stuff but weekend it's always ruined.

yeah bells line is nice

as said earlier... this would mean you pop out around Mt Victoria then head back along great western. quite a nice long loop cruise.
