There are two plastic tabs on either side of the radio that just lift off. Under those tabs are two holes on each side in which you need to stick something like coathanger wire in to unclip the radio. Push the wire in until you hear a slight click, and then the radio will become loose. With the wires still pushed into the holes, the radio can then be removed.
Instead of using coathanger wire, you can use this type of tool (which is essentially bent coathanger wire anyway)
