QLD: Sunny Coast Run (7th of July)

Hey Guys,

So the original Sunny Coast maze is being torn up in august so last chance to wonder around the original maze which had been around for the last 20 years, after which it will be torn up.

If you wish to go for a hike through rain forest at Maleny instead that can be arranged instead but thought a maze might be a bit of fun?

Meetup: Caboolture BP @ 9:45am. Leave @ 10:00am.
Feel free to meetup Southside/Northside to cruise together

Cruise Contact: Kris ((0)438 192 358) phone will be hooked up by bluetooth

Cost:
Maze:
~16 for maze or ~24 for mini golf + maze
Rainforest Walk:
Free

Route:
http://goo.gl/maps/yP0vx

After this we will head into mooloolaba for fush n chups or hoes breath. Choice is yours

Im open to suggestions in regards to other roads (Project R?). It's been a while since I've done most of those roads so I'll be taking it slow (cept maybe Bald Knob Road). Might end up swapping the roads, go up bald knob and down maleny-stanley rd.

Cheers

EDIT: Apologies for the late notice everyone btw, time just seemed to have escaped me with this.

Thread title changed

We last did the maze a couple years back, sad to hear its being torn up

From the Bell Maze website:

Quote:
The original, 20 year old cypress pine hedge maze is soon to be completely removed forever. Of course it will be replanted, but this time entirely with Aussie lilly pillies - however

since hedges take a long time to grow, the hedge maze will stay closed from August 2013 for one to two years. All the other attractions will continue to stay open such as the NEW timber maze with its unexpected twists and turns, the rope maze, tyre maze and mini golf - and of course the huge walk-through aviary. So if you have fond memories of this Sunshine Coast icon, then NOW is the time to come and visit the hedge maze for the last time.
