FIRST! before trying to establish where water is coming from/going???
a) check coolant level b) check radiator fluid consistency ie: oil in radiator? ie: drops of green in oil? c) check oil level ie: water (whitish colour) in there? OK? NO!.......fill radiator with coolant/water, including reservoir, & watch temp on dash panel whilst, try determine if pipe/line is leaking. This will take great care if water is leaking out fast!!!!!!!!. If so, turn engine off before too much coolant lost! OK? Yes! now check for blocked radiator. Run engine (from cold) with radiator cap off ((checking carefully temp rising on dash panel)) If it is rising too high, & there is no flow happening, may be blocked radiator. Keep us posted

Common problems with the BP
Radiator Blockage/ Cracked Top Tank Water Pumps seize/ Leak Heater Hoses Block Thermostats Screw Up...<<<Probably the most likely cause considering your detail of how and when it happened...

180's and other imports have the same problems due to them being built for much cooler climates...that's why I invested in a Koyo Radiator straight away...

Just as Maztech suggests, check/service in this weather. I frequently check all fluids religiously. Even look @ tyre pressures pretty often. Better to be safe than sorry! Both my cars are over 20 years old but are in excellent nick! They get maintained regularly

In summer this problem can be when exhaust header cover not in place. I had same problem when one summer in Estonia was +30C and I drived from Tallinn to Võru. Engine overeated on one side 3-5 times. When temperature was cooling, after tat wasīnt any problems. Some time later with friend we was talking about that and after looking under the hood was problem reason known. In my car is Mazda factory sport header(like custom headers for turo engines) what build in strats for BF GTX engines(maybay Mazdaspeed detail) and I donīt have cover on header. Header heats te radiator and air what cools radiator was to warm even riding 120 km/h. Behind other car canīt ride even with 90km/h.
